New LinkedIn profiles make it easier to add SlideShare presentations

We’ve been working on providing new and exciting ways to add SlideShare content to your LinkedIn profile. Previously this was done with the SlideShare App on LinkedIn, which we are discontinuing in favor of a simpler and easier way to add content. The new LinkedIn profiles will be rolled out during the next month to people around the world. Here’s how to use them. LinkedIn: Using SlideShare and StockTwits for Social IR

LinkedIn posted their first earnings presentation in the LinkedIn SlideShare Pro Channel at the close of the bell yesterday, enabling their content to be a focal point of conversation across social networks. LinkedIn is one of several companies leveraging a new integration between SlideShare and StockTwits. The LinkedIn Channel includes real time tweeting of the $LNKD earnings call via StockTwits, and the StockTwits ticker page includes the earnings presentation. “As a social media company, it was a no-brainer to use SlideShare to share our earnings call slides on our corporate blog,” said Mario Sundar, Chief Blogger at LinkedIn. While SlideShare made it… Read more »

Discovering People Through Content, and Content Through People

Starting today, we’re launching a new integration with SlideShare and LinkedIn that will make it easier for you to share, discover, and engage with professional content on both networks. Below are the three new features you’ll notice: 1. Share SlideShare presentations, documents, and videos on LinkedIn We’ve added the LinkedIn Share button to all SlideShare presentations, documents, and videos, so you can share content with your professional network with one click. We really appreciate it when members of the SlideShare community take it upon themselves to write helpful how-to articles, curate collections of their favorite presentations, and give shout-outs to apps we’ve created.
