Some new features and changes
There has been a lot going on at SlideShare recently. Portrait version of SlideShare Playlist: We introduced the SlideShare playlist a few weeks ago . But it was limited to landscape mode. Today, we added support for the portrait version of the playlist. Many of you with blogs/websites with less wide columns will find this useful. New features: Comment on & download embedded presentations
We’ve added some great new enhancements to our embedded player today. While you could earlier share and grab the embed code directly from the player, you still had to visit SlideShare to add a comment, to favorite or to download the presentation. Not anymore! Now you can login to your SlideShare account directly from the player, post a comment, save the presentation to your favorites or download the presentation too. Upload iWork Pages to SlideShare
SlideShare has supported Keynote from Apple’s iWork suite for a while now. Last week we added the ability to upload files created in Pages too. So now you no longer need to worry about converting your Pages to Microsoft Word’s format or PDF before you share them. Just upload to SlideShare!

New Features: File size increased to 100MB and speaker notes in presentations,
We just rolled out a bunch of new features & enhancements. File Size 100 MB: Now you can upload files upto 100 MB in size. Woot! This is a 100% increase in the allowed size (earlier it was 50MB). Speaker notes in Presentations : This has been one of our most requested features till date… now speaker notes in the presentation will be captured and displayed in the comments section. You will have to upload the ppt/odp file for this (not pdf). This should help many speakers who have valuable accompanying commentary in the notes section… this now gets shared… Read more »
