And The Winners of #MyStartupStory Are…

My-Startup-story-200x200Of the upload contests we’ve done in recent months (Things I Carry, In 10 Years), I must say, My Startup Story produced some of the best SlideShares yet. We had fantastic startup stories told from around the world — tales of success and failure; ideas that took off, ideas that flopped and ideas that are still waiting to see their day. Check them all out here.

This time we have five winners: The author/deck that garnered the most number of social shares on Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Google+ and Pinterest; and four winners selected (one each) by startup greats Guy Kawasaki, Dave McClure, Hunter Walk and Douglas Crets. Each winner gets a free 12-month SlideShare Gold PRO account.

Without further ado, here are the winners of the #MyStartupStory contest:

Most Social Shares: Anirvan Dam, Joognu.com

Guy Kawasaki’s Pick: Ethos3

Hunter Walk’s Pick: Piktochart

Douglas Crets’ Pick: StorySense

Dave McClure’s Pick: Passle

Congratulations to the winners, and a big round of applause to everyone who participated!

    Congratulations to the winners!

Just one thing. While we are fans of both Guy Kawasaki and Ethos3, it’s a known fact that they have done business together. It’s even advertised on Ethos3′s website. So when Guy picks Ethos3, people will start questioning the fairness of the process (at least we are).

For future competitions, it would be healthy to have a rule that prohibits judges from picking a company they have worked with (or are working with).

When someone writes an piece of writing he/she retains
the thought of a user in his/her brain that how a user can be
aware of it. Thus that’s why this piece of writing is
    outstdanding. Thanks!
