Trimming down your content production may not be easy at first, but with a little adjustment and focus, you can get your content marketing in shape. Why get your Lean Content workout on? Because we all know how much excessive non-useful information is out there, and the best way to engage your potential customers is to give them good content that’s relevant to their interests.
What is Lean Content? Lean Content is the application of the Lean Startup methodology to content strategy, for maximum brand impact. Lean Content strategies includes faster feedback loops, measurement of your content’s success (or failure) and innovative content production through iteration. Here is my SlideShare presentation, “Content Marketing the #leancontent Way: More Impact with Less Time and Resources,” which explains Lean Content a bit more.
This week, SlideShare’s Kevin Fisher will speak at the Lean Content SF Meetup hosted by Scoop.it. Kevin will introduce you to the Lean Content workout and help you beef up your B2B Content Marketing. Key takeaways at this event will include ways to optimize SlideShare to:
- Accomplish marketing goals
- Promote and distribute your brand content to the right audience
- Measure traffic and impact of your presentations
- Apply B2B Lean Content marketing tips
If you’re in the San Francisco Bay Area, come by and meet other content optimizers and marketers on Wed., May 22, from 6:30-8:30 PM, at Scoop.it HQ. Please join and RSVP on our the Lean Content Meetup Group. Along with amazing insight from a great speaker, pizza and beer will be served with the small event fee of $10.
