Recently, we completely redid how your profiles look and feel. If you have missed the redesign, click on any username on SlideShare and you will notice the difference (e.g., check out my profile page here: http://www.slideshare.net/rashmi

What else would you like to see in SlideShare profiles

Arun J and Sri Prasanna did most of the work on SlideShare profile redesign. I am sure they will love to hear your feedback.

    Yes, I like the look.
It is useful to see what those you follow are doing.
I like having all information related to my work on the same page, in an easy to access format.

    Hi SS,

I am only 6 wks into SS, so I don’t recollect the old layout but I can say this layout is very cool. It could be even better with a few dynamic features. If the software permits there should be a graphical display of no of presentations/no of weeks on display / to no of views, for each user, giving us a quick estimate on My slidespace. This not only tells us in retrospect, where we have gone wrong and viewership has dropped, but also helps us to find out whom to follow.
Rest is fab… quite comprehensive, just like the tweetdeck
By the way will we get a feedback on our comments of last month? I hope so

[...] changes are part of the new profile design change. Interestingly unlike the scribd blog post on new changes, the post at Slideshare blog [...]

Since I am a new user, I have only seen the updated profile page.

I think there is too much going on on the profile page which clutters it up. Also, the colors for links clash with the colors of the site overall. This reminds me more of Facebook than Twitter or Tumblr (positive) in terms of UI. Love the service and concept though.

  13. Lezlie says:

I do not like only because the people I follow cannot see my private slidecasts directly on my profile page like they could before. Now I have to email the secret URL to them individually…this is a big convenience for both them and me.
