SlideShare: One million registered users! (& congrats ThinkPublic: you are our millionth user)

You read that right! SlideShare now has over one million registered users as of the 24th of November.

A big shout out to the awesome community that has grown around SlideShare for making this possible. Honestly, this would not have been possible without the support and participation of all our users.

And of course, thanks and congratulations to ThinkPublic, our millionth registered user!

    Congrats Slideshare on signing up a million users! That means a million wise choices! LOL!

    I am really glad. But I am not surprised. It is a great community with some unique bondings. When I visit slideshare i feel like I am in the United Nations. So many nations, so many languages, so many faces, so many voices, so many perspectives… and a few unsolved problems and disputes and claims/counterclaims to complete the experience.

    Next target? one billion users by 2015?
    wish you all guys at slideshare all the very best in achieving your dreams for 2009!

    Thanks also adding my pic in this motley crowd (though I wd hv preferred to be left out!) Glad to see my friends like grahairs, doina, roleof and spiderweb99 included there.

    I had a dream few time ago when I started with PowerPoint: to be forwarded one of my PPS between the people as from a “home” to another “home”!
    (YOU know, that work in PP and shared it with the family or few friends….)
    I had in the beginning poor and innocent (as technique) shows….
    In the beginning of 2008, I came in Slideshare by….. (how to say it better?) a searching in NET!
    It was exciting to see that I can subscribe and upload in Slideshare…………
    (now, I think that I have more courage than I had then and this is because this nice and friendly community !)

    I never thought that I will come in a so wonderful world!!!!
    Slideshare!
